This year's sled racing is going to feature drag racing style, side by side two people at a time races. Winner of each heat advances. To start each heat racers will get on their sled and brace themselves at the line. Sleds cannot be doctored or modified in any way. Participants must check in between 5:15 and 5:45 on the day of the race. Rider must sit, or lay on their back with feet pointing downhill. Sledding head first will result in disqualification. The race official will ensure both racers are ready, step back and shine a flashlight. If someone leaves before the light and the other person follows it counts as a race.
